The day was kind if brownish red and it made the wool almost a curry tone instead of the beautiful green I was expecting. That is not a problem however - I like this color too and the hat is going to be beautiful, I just know it.I'm wandering why this might be - is it because it's earlier in the year - or are the lupins somehow different because of the volcanic ash perhaps? I simply don't know.
