Update: the road from Vík is now closed to both sides, water and broken road to the west (direction Reykjavík) and ash to the east (direction Höfn).
The yellow dots mean the road is closed, As you can see, Vík is surrounded by them.Update: Here are some new ash pictures, taken just east of Vík.
