Ash from Eyjafjallajökull

These pictures were taken this morning in what should have been broad daylight. My friend Grétar Einarsson took them on Mýrdalssandur, just east of Vík. The area was, and still is closed, but he is in the voluntary rescue team and was accompanying some scientists, who were taking samples of the ash.
